Greek Yogurt Smoothie

An easy and delicious recipe to begin with.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 handful of blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 5 strawberries
  • Orange juice

Mix all ingredients in a blender.  Don’t forget adding enough orange juice for the desired consistency.

I bought the book recently. Found a pretty good smoothie recipe that I had to day. Tomato & Oarnge Juice. Used a small vine ripend tomato & Simply Orange orange juice (I had plenty on hand). For those on feeding tubes for any reason you should strain out the seeds from the tomatoes before drinking or adding the OJ. The book stated the tomatoes are a good source of minerals.
